I have a question for you.<br />
How often do you as a M.D. or manager speak with your clients?<br />
If you actually do this, how much time do actually spend listening?<br />
Be honest with yourself; take the time to go through the last week, last month.<br />
The honest answer for most people is &#8220;Well I have to do all those other things, those important things like run my business, attend those meetings, make sure everyone is doing what they should be doing, planning, thinking, yada yada yada&#8221;<br />
Yes those things were important and without your clients you would have?????????<br />
Let&#8217;s go back in time for a moment, stay with me please.</p>
<p>What made your business, your career take off? Become what and where you are now?<br />
What were you good at and made your business or career special?<br />
the answer ~ YOU! You made it special.</p>
<p>And why did your clients choose you instead of someone else? (Notice I said you, not your business) Have you ever asked them? and listened quietly? Probably not.</p>
<p>What if you did? What would you learn ~ USP probably not and that would be a good thing.<br />
You see, that&#8217;s only half the answer.</p>
<p>What if you also asked what do they want? What do they need? ~ Their unique BUYING point (UBP)<br />
Now if you knew that and your USP (you) matched what you heard (listened to) then you may just have more clients than you want ~ what a concept.</p>
<p>So you may want to consider where your time&#8217;s best spent?<br />
After all it was you that made this business, career and I know that no one else can run those meetings, making sure everyone is doing what they should be ~ could they?</p>
<p>or  to put it a little more bluntly maybe it&#8217;s time to get off your <i>&#8216;backside&#8217;</i> and do what you do, did best and go and ask and listen and make it happen like you know you can.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><span style="font-size: x-small;">If you have never been there, being made redundant, it&#8217;s very difficult to imagine how it feels. The very term Redundant has deep emotional meaning to those who it affects.</p>
<p>The dictionary definintion &#8220;1. superfluous 2. no longer needed (at work)&#8221;</p>
<p>For some it can be taken as an identity issue ~ I AM redundant, I AM no longer needed.</p>
<p>And all of this can raise what we would term &#8216;negative emotions&#8217; such as anger, sadness, guilt and for some the feeling of grief as real as losing someone.</p>
<p>BUT&#8230;&#8230;..</p>
<p>This does not have to be this way &#8230; Oh No! (nearly swore there)</p>
<p>We can change those feelings into what we want. To replace them with expectaion, opportunity, relief, passion and even gratitude.</p>
<p>The past is exactly what it is THE PAST, it&#8217;s gone and the great thing about the future is that it hasn&#8217;t arrived so we can make it the way we want to experience the now.</p>
<p>How?</p>
<p>By using the one thing that&#8217;s more powerful than anything else in the world&#8230;&#8230;Our Mind.</p>
<p>When we use our mind in such a way we can feel the way we want to feel, see what we want to see and attract what we want in our lives.</p>
<p>Sounds too easy?</p>
<p>That&#8217;s because you haven&#8217;t experienced it ~ YET with me</p>
